About

Real trips, written up honestly.

Flyvori started as a folder of notes I kept sending to friends — where to stay in Lisbon, how to not overpay for the train in Japan, which "must-see" spots were actually worth it. Eventually the folder got too big, so it became a website.

Every guide here comes from a trip I actually took. I pay for my own flights and hotels, I write down real prices, and I tell you when something wasn't worth it. When a post has an affiliate link, it's marked — and it never changes what I recommend.

The goal is simple: help you plan a trip you'll love, without the fluff, the fake urgency, or the twelve pop-ups. If a single guide here saves you an afternoon of research or a bad hotel, it did its job.

Why "Flyvori"?

It's a made-up word that sounded like flying somewhere lovely. That's the whole story. I'm not going to pretend it means something in Old Norse.
